InHand Remote Monitoring Solution Unveiled on China Refrigeration 2008

During April 9-11, 2008, the 19th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage (CHINA REFRIGERATION 2008) was successfully held in Shanghai New Int’l Expo. Centre. InHand who is steering in air-conditioning and refrigeration industry with full effort, worked with world famous automation product manufacturer Schneider Electric and demonstrated the full solution for ‘Remote Maintenance and Service System of Large Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment’, which drew a lot of attention and interest from refrigeration professionals on the exhibition.

Along the fast development of China’s economy, air-conditioning and refrigeration industries have also been developing at a quick pace; while sales increases, equipment manufacturers begin to face increasing challenge to maintain the equipment spread all over the country or even worldwide. Meanwhile, today’s customers have put forward higher requirement for service, many central air-conditioner customers require manufacturers to provide 7/24 monitoring and maintenance of the running status of these large equipment, to avoid sudden shut-down and the possible heavy business loss.

In respond to these needs, technicians at InHand Co. researched in this area attentively, analyzed aspects and factors in remote maintenance system, including the working characteristics of automatic control equipment, special difficulties in remote data transmission and needs in the monitoring of equipment running status, etc., at last, a full set of technical solution is completed. The solution, with its innovative technical structure on equipment networking, satisfactorily worked out the technology difficulty in traditional monitoring solutions and the challenge in merging industrial equipment with all-IP network, to help equipment manufacturers construct remote maintenance network to carry out real-time monitoring of the running status of equipment, achieving preventive servicing.

On the exhibition, InHand co-worked with Schneider Electric China; an Equipment Remote Maintenance System was put up over Schneider’s Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Full Automation Set to demonstrate the advanced technical solution. Many technicians from manufacturing companies gathered at our booth, inquiring carefully and discussing. Some companies even invited us on the site to visit them after the exhibition to discuss and communicate further over the solution. The technicians at the site regarded the solution solves the technology problem that have existed in remote monitoring for a long time, is a very advanced technical solution.

The China Refrigeration 2008 concentrated a large number of well-known international and China local brands. As the world leading HVAC&R trade show, China Refrigeration features the latest advances in technologies reflecting the most significant developments and achievements in the industry. Nearly 1,000 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors participated, in a total displaying area of nearly 70,000 square meters.
