InHand Remote Monitoring System Lights Up CONEXPO ASIA 2007 Construction Machinery Exposition

The CONEXPO Asia 2007 exposition held in Guangzhou, China during December 4-7, 2007 was a great success. On the exposition, InHand, an advanced communication solution provider, demonstrated their solution of Large Equipment Remote Monitoring & Maintenance; the demonstration received favorable comments from customers and exhibitors with its leading technology and concept in providing a developmental technical platform for large engineering machinery manufacturers to transform from manufacturing to servicing.

CONEXPO Asia is a great gathering of leading construction industry suppliers in China, Asia, and beyond. Owned and organized by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the only international association in construction machinery industry, it is also the only Asia-based exhibition run by the industry and for the benefit of the industry. After the inaugural CONEXPO Asia was successfully held in Beijing, May 2006, CONEXPO Asia 2007 set new records on number of high quality attendees and exhibitors, 28,000 registered industry professionals from close to 100 countries and about 450 Chinese and international exhibitors attended the event. Besides exhibits of latest construction technologies and equipment, the show also featured live working equipment demonstrations and industry focused education sessions.

At the booth “Large Equipment Remote Monitoring System” set up by InHand together with China’s leading manufacturers of large engineering machinery, the live demonstration of the full set solution much interested exhibitors and attendees. InHand’s Large Equipment Remote Monitoring System adopted advanced technical scheme, to link up construction equipment distributed across the country or around the world, with the monitoring centre collects field data, monitors equipment, and updates programs on controllers, providing clients with upgraded maintenance service and asset management service, and improved product competence.

With this technical platform, customers will be able to timely and conveniently inspect the running status and malfunction information of remote equipment, to realize preventive maintenance, avoid many unnecessary on-site service and travels, and effectively improve service quality while reducing cost.
